Data Analytics and Research Intern

I worked with the Ecological Servants Project as a Data Analysis and Research Intern, supporting the organization’s environmental analytics and digital growth initiatives. My work focused on applying data science, web analytics, and competitive intelligence techniques to help the organization expand its reach, improve content strategy, and strengthen engagement with supporters and partners.

During this role, I worked on multiple analytics and data engineering initiatives aimed at improving the organization’s digital visibility and data-driven decision making.

  • Analyzed Google Analytics (GA4) and SEO performance data to understand user engagement patterns and identify opportunities for improving search visibility.
  • Conducted keyword research and keyword cannibalization audits to optimize website content and improve search ranking performance.
  • Built competitor and sponsor intelligence datasets by combining web scraping, search analytics, and public information sources.
  • Designed data pipelines to integrate multiple data sources including web analytics, search performance metrics, and scraped datasets.
  • Generated analytical reports to help guide content strategy, outreach efforts, and digital growth planning.

This work helped support the organization’s broader mission of promoting environmental stewardship and conservation by strengthening its data capabilities and digital outreach strategy.
